On Wednesday, April 12, 2006, the Austrian Trade Commission in cooperation with the World Trade Center Chicago and the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce will present a symposium entitled, "EU - US: Expanding Business Horizons." Remaining one of the largest steady trading partners with the U.S. in today's global economy, the E.U. presents U.S. businesses with a vast array of business opportunities. Although companies have invested significant amounts of time, money, and resources in the European market, the constant evolution brings to light many issues to address."EU - US: Expanding Business Horizons" will take place at the Drake Hotel, 140 East Walton Place, Chicago, IL 60611. The afternoon will begin with a panel presentation and networking session from 4:00 to 6:30 PM. The panel will be comprised of experts already partaking in this trade relationship. Austria has held the Presidency of the Council of the European Union since January 2006 and will serve as such until June 2006.
