A group of 29 students from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), one of the most prestigious training school for chefs in the world, are touring Spain in order to complete their last year academic training, in order to obtain their final degree.
Traveling along with the sutdents are a CIA teacher as well as a coach of the Spanish Language Foundation, organizer of the trip, which will tour various cities around the country in order to get close with the culture and especially the cuisine and traditions.
In his tour they will visit companies such as Quesos Entrepinares, Bodegas Codorniu, Cava Recaredo Mata as well as prestigious restaurants like Xavier Pellicer's Abbaco, and Spanish culture main locations like the Museo del Prado in Madrid and the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
The Culinary Institute of America promotes three or four annual trips to Spain, Italy and Asia, aiming to complete the academic training of students in the senior year.
