The company Carlos Casado, mostly owned by Spanish construction group San Jose, has received the approval of the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), the U.S. market regulator, for listing on the NYSE, the company reports in a statement .
The firm, already listed in Buenos Aires since 1958, this transaction fits in their strategy of having a larger liquidity volume and open up new markets.
The company counts among its main assets 310,000 hectares of land in the Paraguayan Chaco, where currently has agricultural production, bovine livestock farming and crop research for obtaining biodiesel.
The strategic plan aims to consolidate the company's traditional activities, agriculture and industry, and the development of its new policy areas that have been implemented in recent years and require substantial and sustained investment in innovation, research and new technologies.
