Caceres, a city in western Spain, will host the V International Open Source Software Conference from December 1 to 3. This year, the forum “New Economic Environment, New Opportunities”, will demonstrate the advantages of open source software to a company’s production and competitive strategies.
Scheduled to take place over the three days are, 10 panels of experts; 4 computing workshops; and other full-length sessions comprising over sixty speakers including new media strategist Rahaf Harfoush, who in 2008 was part of Barack Obama´s media campaign.
The conference has become the largest open source software forum in Spain.
