Amper wants to enter the U.S. security services market. The Spanish technology firm signed a partnership agreement with the Chertoff Group, a company founded by Michael Chertoff, Secretary of Homeland Security from 2005 to 2009, under the Bush administration.
The goal of the partnership is to offer security services to American companies and governing bodies, while also seeking business opportunities in other parts of the world like South America and Asia. To reinforce the agreement; Amper will hand over 0.59% of its capital treasury stock to the American company.
Through the agreement, Amper and Chertoff want to claim part of the $ 50 billion security business in the United States, eleven billion of which goes to technology systems.
